At ClayCreatives we have the facilities of a large studio with the heart of a smaller one. We aim to nurture & inspire all our members & students to help them achieve their goals.
Set in the heart of Crystal Palace, South East London, our studio is home to ClayCreatives an open access ceramics membership scheme and ClayKilnCraft a pottery school offering a variety of classes and courses. We welcome everyone from beginners, hobbyists & semi-professionals alike.
Established in 2014 by ceramic artist Aliya Rashid, ClayCreatives has evolved into a thriving community of potters.
Our facilities
The studio is split across two floors, with ample space both upstairs and downstairs in addition to an extensive library of tools including a clay slab roller for hand building.
We have 10 Shimpo wheels for throwers along with a range of coloured slips and Amaco glazes available. We offer glaze and bisque firings (1240 & 1280) with the option for specialist firings like lustre for an additional fee.
All members have their own dedicated storage space along with shared shelving in our kiln room as well as a garden to work in when the weather allows it!
